Japan Loves the Wii!

Across the Pacific, the Wii dominated the competition in February.

The Nintendo Wii outsold Sony’s “Not as expensive but still totally not worth it” Playstation 3 by a margin of 4 to 1. The February numbers look like this:

  • Wii: 331,627 units
  • Playstation 3: 89,131 units
  • Xbox 360: 14,079 units

Contributing factors to Wii’s success no doubt include the recent releases of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Wii Fit, which are both runaway hits in Japan.

Come on, Japan, the Xbox 360 isn’t that bad! You guys would love Zuma, trust me!
