Forum Update
Here is a brief history of events:
- In 2005, Justin started hosting the forums over at Plinkomedia.com
- In 2013, he stopped doing that.
Due to technical issues, the Nintendorks forums as you know them have to be shut down. I took this as a pretty good opportunity to (finally) host the forums on the same server as the website so everything would be under one roof.
The good news is I was able to import all that rich and textured history over to the new forums–all your accounts and login info will work just as it did before. The better news is the forum software has been updated to a system more technologically advanced. The best news is you’ll be able to get back to posting your poop stories as soon as sometime Saturday afternoon.
The bad news is the forums look different. Like, “Oh God that is bland and ugly and different” different. This is why I’m waiting til Saturday to open them up. I’d like to spend a little time polishing them up and making them a bit more Nintendork-y. The problem is this is a real busy month at work for me, and I have social engagements both tomorrow AND Friday night! So popular!
Functionally, they’re the same: You click on “General Blabbery”, you click on “Poop Stories”, you share your poop story. But I’m still going to try to make them look a little better, and add some of the features you’ve grown to love. Needless to say, they’ll be a work in progress, but what a fun journey it will be…TOGETHER!
