THREE HEAVY DOSES OF STREET FIGHTER II BITCH. SLAP YOUR WII U!! AAAAAAAHHHH!! WHY ARE WE YELLING!?

In a perplexing move today, Capcom has clobbered the Wii U’s virtual console with all 3 SNES incarnations of their popular series of Street Fighter 2 children’s video games. Right now at the asking price of $7.99, consumers can choose between the original Street Fighter II: The World Warriors (featuring 8 selectable characters!), Street Fighter II: Super Happy Sunshine Turbo Express (which adds the 4 bosses from the previous game as playable fighters) or Super Street Fighter II: Why Wouldn’t You Skip the Other II And Just Buy This One?. That last version may run a tad slower than Turbo but it features enhanced graphics, the 8 classic guys, those controllable bosses AS WELL as Cammy’s sweet ass an extra 4 four new dudes that were pretty cool looking in the 90’s. Attempting to somehow entice players to take the plunge on all three of these titles, Capcom is also offering up a deal that runs until the end of August where if you download any one of them, the other two’s prices will be Ha-Do-Ken’d down to 50% off. Like I said, perplexing. I think I’m using that word right.

Here’s a trailer in case you’re having trouble visualizing what Street Fighter II would look like on the gamepad:
