After factoring in the terrible food, horrible odors, and disturbing human-like creatures, people may have come to the conclusion that the only reason to enter a McDonald’s, besides squeezing a quick one off in the rest room, was to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi service for DS owners.
Well, think again, spunky.
According to Geek dot com, the service contract between Nintendo, McDonald’s and Wayport has expired, and none of the three companies involved decided to try and renew it. Wayport has been providing Wi-Fi in McDonald’s since November of 2005, but the dream is now as dead as Kurt Vonnegut. This sudden void of Wi-Fi will affect both the U.S. and Canadialand.
