Excitebots Is Throwing Around The Word “Super” Like It’s 1992/1993

Recently, Cory announced that Nintendo was releasing Excitebots, a sequel of sorts for the Wii launch title Excitetrucks.

Only in the last week has Nintendo given us some idea of what the game is, and yesterday, IGN released a trailer for the title. Go watch the trailer. Then come back.

What? What is going on? Giant awkward soccer? Robot bug bowling? Pie Face? Super Air? Super Leg Smash? Super Sandwich? Apparently Nintendo had some sort of desert spirit journey, and decided that if they were going to release a new game, it had better well feature robotic turtles and tambourines. I guess if it’s fun? I just don’t know anymore.
