Wii MotionPlus to be $20, come out June 8, Wii Sports Resort July 26

Time to get a Magnum-sized Wiimote condom.

ii remote-type dongle goblin Wii MotionPlus is coming out on June 8, almost two months ahead of its reason for existence, Wii Sports Resort.

Resort will be bundled with a MotionPlus for $50 and released July 26, a day that happens to be the day before my birthday. (You know what to do!)

The reason for the early release is no doubt EA’s forthcoming tennis and golf titles, which both feature MotionPlus support. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is looking particularly impressive; it’s almost exactly what we wanted the Wii remote to be when it was first unveiled. Tiger Woods is releasing on June 16, and Grand Slam Tennis on June 15.
