Be Hearing: Iwata reveals various interfaces for Wii U
The Wii U’s main feature touted in today’s Nintendo Direct video was the ability for a person to feel connected to others even while playing single player games.
You can see messages that your friends posted about a certain area of a game if you’re having a hard time, and even post your own message from the Wii U game pad yourself. This feature can also be expanded into the game itself. My favorite example was, when playing a Mario game, being greeted by a bunch of messages from your friends when they died on the exact same koopa trooper you did.
The amount of connectivity the Wii U has going for it is mighty impressive. Now let’s just get that online multiplayer in shape…
